미국과 이스라엘의 선거

미국 대선까지 3주 남았습니다. 이 기간 동안에는 다니엘이 헬라(그리스) 군주와 바사(페르시아) 군주를 대항하여 중보기도했던 21일과 같은 영적 전쟁이 있습니다 (단 10:2, 13, 20). 오늘날 이러한 군주는 한 편으로는 성적 부도덕, 또 다른 한 편으로는 이슬람 지하드라는 공격에 해당하는 것입니다. 다른 나라들도 마찬가지이지만, 미국에 있어서 주요 이슈 세 가지는

1. 가족의 가치 회복

2. 국가 부채 청산

3. 이슬람 급진주의와의 투쟁

다니엘처럼 우리도 이 3주 동안 속이는 영을 결박하고 하나님의 뜻이 풀어지도록 특별 기도와 금식을 헌신해야겠습니다. 우리가 기도하면 하나님께서 정부 각처에 꼭 맞는 사람을 배치하실 것입니다 (단 4:17).

이스라엘도 2013년 1월 22일에 새로운 선거가 예정되어 있습니다. 3개월 후에 미국과 이스라엘에는 새로운 행정부가 들어섭니다. 거의 모든 나라에 종교적, 정치적, 경제적 요동이 있습니다. 지금은 결정적인 재편성의 시간입니다.

우리는 영적 돌파를 위해서(마 11:12), 이 세상 나라가 그리스도께 굴복하도록(계 11:15), 정부의 공의와 정의를 위해서(사 32:1), 권위의 자리에 있는 이들에게 하나님의 인도하심이 있도록(잠 21:1) 우리의 중보기도를 다시금 배가해야겠습니다.

US and Israel Elections

Three weeks remain until the US elections. There is a spiritual battle during this time like the twenty-one days that Daniel interceded against the powers of Grecia and Persia (Daniel 10:2, 13, 20). Today those powers are equivalent to the attacks of sexual immorality on the one side and Islamic jihad on the other. Three key issues for the US, as well as other nations are:

1. restoring family values

2. paying off national debt

3. fighting Islamic extremism

Like Daniel, let us devote special time of prayer and fasting during these three weeks to bind spirits of deception and to release the will of God. If we pray, God will place the right people in places of government (Daniel 4:17).

Israel has also scheduled new elections for January 22, 2013. By the end of three months, the US and Israel will be in new governments. There are religious, political and economic shakings in almost every nation. This is a critical time of realignment.

Let us redouble our intercession for spiritual breakthrough (Matthew 11:12), submission of the kingdoms of this world (Revelation 11:15), righteousness and justice in government (Isaiah 32:1), and God's direction for those in authority (Proverbs 21:1).
